Dead Sea bath salt is only 8% salt and is mostly made up of magnesium, sulfates, and potassium. That combination is what gives it such beneficial qualities.
To use Dead Sea bath salt, pour a small handful of it into your bath water and allow yourself to soak up its goodness for several minutes. This type of bath salt is often associated with cleansing and detoxifying the skin.
Pure Epsom Salt
Epsom salt is not salt at all but is instead a mineral compound of magnesium sulfate in a crystallized form. However, due to its appearance, it looks a lot like your typical salt.
Epsom salt has proven to be beneficial in several ways, from inducing relaxation to relieving stress. However, it is great for your skin as well.
Get a cup or two of epsom salt and pour it into your bathwater. Spending 15-20 minutes in the tub will do you a world of good.
